The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bids Farewell to Palestinian Ambassador Hael Al-Fahoum with a Tribute Ceremon
The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a ceremonial dinner in honor of H.E. Hael Al-Fahoum, Ambassador of the State of Palestine, on the occasion of the conclusion of his tenure in Tunisia. The event was attended by a high-level delegation from the ministry, led by Mr. Ali Azidine, Director of the Middle East and Near East Department, along with several ambassadors, including the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Tunisia, Yemeni Ambassador Abdel Nasser Bahabib, and Algerian Ambassador Azouz Baâlal.
During the event, Mr. Ali Azidine praised the outstanding efforts of Ambassador Al-Fahoum in strengthening bilateral relations between Tunisia and Palestine. He reaffirmed Tunisia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
For his part, Ambassador Hael Al-Fahoum expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Tunisia—its leadership, government, and people. He highlighted his dedication during his tenure to advancing the shared interests of the two brotherly nations, contributing to their mutual goals of development, prosperity, and stability.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Tunisia, Abdel Nasser Bahabib, honored the Palestinian ambassador by presenting him with a commemorative gift. This gesture symbolized the friendship and camaraderie shared during years of fruitful cooperation and mutual respect.
